Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

The School + Pagan Wanderer Lu

On Saturday 20 March The Autumn Store are putting on a lovely gig of indie pop at the Victoria. The School is a pop band hailing from Wales. The eight piece band are inspired by bands such as the Beach Boys, Phil Spector, 60s girl bands as well as Belle & Sebastian, Camera Obsura and Jim Noir. They play ‘sophisticated, happy songs, with a little melancholy thrown in them’.

Supporting will be Pagan Wanderer Lu, quirky electronica fuelled indie pop with a dark side and Falling and Laughing, Birmingham based two piece ‘Chord-gazers’ who describe themselves as ‘Sonic Youth on Sarah Records crossed with Jens Lekman fronting The Wedding Present’. Nice!

The Autumn Store Disco will be afterwards and cake throughout. Doors open at 8.30pm and costs £4
