Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

Luminopolis

Tonight Luminopolis takes place in Brindleyplace, a one night video intervention by Sarah Fortes Mayer in collaboration with Andy McKeown along the city centre canal. Organised by Transient Art, the event will take places from 6-7pm starting at the Sea Life Centre and ending at the Mailbox. There isn’t much information about the event – I’m intrigued.

If you like art and water other projects dealing with water in Brum, include Ikon Gallery’s Slow Boat which has just received funding to tour the Black Country over the next three years, and Flatpack Film Festival commissioned The Dark River at mac birmingham, navigating the course of the River Rea.
