Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

In The Marvellous Moment

In-the-marvellous-momentIf you pass Birmingham Cathedral over the next few evenings you may find something a little different going on. From tonight until Saturday from 4-9pm, the building will be transformed into an enormous work of art.

Projections of local people, their thoughts and feelings will be beamed onto the historic façade. The work is the first in a programme to celebrate the Cathedral’s 300th anniversary in 2015.

The piece, In the  Marvellous Moment is by Geoff Broadway and Andy McKeown and was made after consultation with local workers, shoppers, passers by and visitors to the Cathedral.
