Moon screening and Q&A at the Giant Screen

To celebrate the launch of epic space drama Gravity , the Giant Screen cinema based at Millennium Point, asked its audience to choose three sci-fi classics to be shown on their massive screen. Followers of the Giant Screen on Facebook and Twitter were asked to pick from a shortlist of 12 classics spanning four decades. They hope to grow the #CrowdsourceCinema concept into a regular feature.

Excitingly, the screening of Moon will be followed by a Q&A with some of the production team behind the film.

Monday 4 November – The Matrix (1999)

Tuesday 5 November – Alien (1979)

Wednesday 6 November – Moon (2009) Featuring a Moon crew Q&A – A chance to meet some of the production team behind the atmospheric modern classic. Speakers include Visual Effects Supervisor Gavin Rothery, Supervising Propmaker Bill Pearson and Visual Effects Editor Barrett Heathcote.

All films are only £5. Book here.
