From 6-8 September 4 Squares Weekender will see the leading arts organisations of Birmingham celebrate the opening of the Library of Birmingham.

Taking places across the ciry’s four squares – Victoria Square, Centenary Square, Chamberlain Square and Oozells Square, the weekend will feature UK and international artists – including a spectacular aerial show – As the World Tipped, pop-up performances from the CBSO, a performance from Musical Youth, acrobatics by NoFit State Circus, music showcase Simmer Down, Ikon’s Slow Boat, a musical picnic plus street theatre, dance, live music and exhibitions.

I’m delighted that I have been chosen to be the ‘official blogger’ for the Weekender. I’ll be blogging at events across the weekend and uploading news/updates to the 4 Squares Weekender Tumblr. Please say hello if you see me and share your images and thoughts with me via my twitter.
