Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

Frame_ is a project led by Elly Clarke / Clarke Gallery which will see unique and limited edition artworks by local and international artists installed in unexpected locations around Birmingham. Frame_ aims to bring ‘art to new audiences, new audiences to art and new contexts in which art can be shown.’ Launching on 16 November, the frames will be exhibited for three months, with work changing when sold. The full list of venues will be released on 13 November but include St Philip’s Cathedral and COS.  Thanks to a partnership with the mac, all work will be available to purchase via the Own Art scheme.

The launch party will be at the Old Joint Stock theatre on Friday 16 November from 5.30pm. More information here (Facebook).

The central hub during the exhibition will be Yorks Bakery Cafe on Newhall Street where you can find out more about the project, or buy tickets for FRAME_ art tours led by Birmingham artists, curators and business owners.
