Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

Unique in Birmingham

Walking around Birmingham you may notice a few unusual window displays in some of the empty shops. These have all been done for Unique in Birmingham organised by Retail Birmingham. Nine windows in total have been transformed from the Mailbox and Burlington Arcade to the Great Western Arcade. Artists chosen to make the window displays include Stitches and Hos (pictured), Frilly, recent BCU graduate Yu-Hsin Chen and Glenn Anderson.

The window displays will be up for the next three months. A map of all the locations can be downloaded here.

Oh I wondered what Stitches and Hos was up to after the Jamaican Olympic team installation around the BMAG. Now need to go look!
