Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

48 Sheet – Collage Party – Turn Up, Tune In, Cut Out

Last year a number of billboards in Digbeth were taken over by Birmingham-based artists for 48 Sheet. The project is back  in April next year, turning Birmingham into a unique urban gallery using 100 billboards across the city.  The project will  be the only international project as part of the 4th Gwangzhou Triennial and will include billboards co-curated by MadeIn (Shanghai) and Raqs Media Collective (India), both of which have exhibited at Ikon over the last few years.

As part of the project, this Saturday (12 November),  a Collage Party and artist talk by Elizabeth Rowe is takes place on Park Street. You are invited to cut up and stick down and have conversations while you are making. Go and start a collage revolution!

Materials will be provided. The party takes place from 12-4pm at Unit B, Park Street.
