Staffordshire-based label Wayside and Woodland present a night of wonky tape degraded ambience, immersive improvised soundscapes and bucolic chiming folk on Sunday 23 October at the Flapper & Firkin. I don’t think I’ve been to a gig at the Flapper for about ten years, but I’m looking forward to soaking up the music and memories.
The Boats present their improvised live show, ‘Do The Boats Dream Of Electric Fritz Pfleumer’, a special series of unique events that will be recorded to form the basis of a new album. Support comes from E.L.Heath, who recently did a session for Ikon’s Slow Boat, and Charles Vaughan. Tickets £5 on the door / Doors at 8pm.
