Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

The Barber goes to the movies

KINO 10 has been hosting eclectic film nights in Birmingham for the last year. Next Tuesday (18 October) there will be a very different kind of film screening at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, exploring the gallery’s collection through celluloid.  KINO 10 founder Sam Groves has explored the gallery and researched artists, paintings and filmmakers, discovering links between artwork and film. The results will be screened from 6-9pm and will feature award winning animations (including The Eagleman Stag, above), drama and archive footage which will hopefully shed new light on the Barber’s collection.

Tickets: £3.
