Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

The end of a chapter…

More Canals than Venice has been promoting the arts and cultural events in Birmingham for just over a  year and a half. I have enjoyed discovering the multitude of happenings in the city and writing about them. I have decided to continue to blog about events and organisations in Birmingham but not as frequently as I have in the past. I intend to discover the new in the city, but at a more leisurely pace and in more depth. One pixie has no chance of writing about everything that is going on!

I will continue to tweet about Birmingham-centric issues and events so please follow me. Creatives, please keep sending me your press releases and information. I may be in contact for an interview!

All sounds very sensible. And I do like a bit of in-depth bloggery. Looking forward to it!

Totally understand this one! This is a voluntary thing so should be fun for you rather than a chore, first and foremost. Looking forward to some insightful features. :-)

MCtV has been a real asset to the city and I can’t wait to see where you take it! Sounds like it will become even more essential and unique.
