Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

All Tomorrow’s Parties: The Film

On Friday 18 February from 6pm VIVID will be screening All Tomorrow’s Parties: The Film, a ‘kaleidoscopic journey’ of the musical universe that is the festival All Tomorrow’s Parties.

The film was generated by the festival and fans. Footage in Super 8, camcorder and even mobile phone captures the spirit of the festival. I, clad in full Robin Hood regalia was interviewed for it, but I suspect as I froze on camera my 5 seconds of fame has been lost on the cutting room floor…

Don’t be too disappointed though as you will be treated to performances by artists including Battles, Sonic Youth, Belle And Sebastian, Patti Smith, Animal Collective, Grinderman, Iggy and the Stooges, Portishead, Mogwai, Slint, Grizzly Bear, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Gossip, Daniel Johnston and The Boredoms.

Admission is £2.
