A recent viewing of Film 2010 revealed what sounds like a real gem, and it’s being shown at mac over the next few days. Mary and Max is an award-winning Australian ‘claymation’ film. It spans 20 years and tells the tale of a friendship between two unlikely pen pals: Mary, a lonely eight year old living in Melbourne; and Max, a 44 year old Jewish man with Aspergers Syndrome living in the chaos of New York City. It sounds like a heart-warming lovely and funny film. Screenings are Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 November 6pm and Thursday 25 November 8pm.
