Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

Glorious Rubble

TROVE have been exhibiting at the old Science Museum for a year. To celebrate, TROVE have collaborated directly with the Museum of Lost Heritage (MoLH) who documented the demolition and reconstruction of the site  ten years ago when the museums’ contents was moved to Millennium Point. Three of the original artists have been teamed up by TROVE with three young up and coming artists; Ravi Deepres with Deborah Mingham, Alistair Grant with Caitlin Griffiths, and Stuart Mugridge with Edward Wakefield. For Glorious Rubble, the commissions will be shown over the entire Newhall Square area.

In addition TROVE will be showing photographic works by Michael Collins and Dave Ruffles, both of whom have been on site over the past ten years and documented its various stages of regeneration.

The preview takes place on Friday 19 November  6-9pm with a tour of the site at 7.20pm. The show is then open on 20 and 27  November and 4 December 12-3pm. TROVE can be found at 144 Newhall Street.
