Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

On Wednesday night 7 inch Cinema present a closing party of sorts for Birmingham Book Festival at the Victoria. Footnotes will be an evening of film and music. There will be lots of shorts based on the work of writers such as Bukowski (such as the stunning example above), Albers and Murakami. There will be archive footage from the Media Archive of Central England (MACE) and music provided by the lovely Sugarfoot Stomp ladies.

The evening starts at 7pm and entry is £4. The evening is also in association with Dirty Bristow magazine. Issues will be on sale on the night.

There are a few more events happening before the close of the festival. You can see them here.
