Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

Port-Royal / Millimetrik / Arc Vel

After a summer break Colour return to present some damn fine gigs in Birmingham city centre. The first of these features Genoa based port-royal, Canadian Millimetrik and local Arc Vel.

port-royal use established structures of post-rock mixed with washed out synths, pulsing, 4-on-the-floor beats and ethereal vocals. Infectious, catchy ambient pop.

Millimetrik unites a love of hip-hop, electronica and ambient music, and makes these influences his own.

Arc Vel are local sonic experimenters and are sure to appeal to fans of Four Tet, Caribou and Burial.

The gig is on Tuesday 19 October, 7.30pm at the Victoria. Tickets cost £5
