Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

48 Sheet

I’m looking forward to walking round Digbeth in the next few days. Four billboards in the area have been transformed by local artists. It’s all part of 48 Sheet, an experimental art installation and the latest project by EC-arts. Artists Harry Blackett, Robin Kirkham, Lucy McLauchlan, Ian Richards and Elizabeth Rowe have been given the opportunity to present their work on equal terms with the advertising that dominate our cities. From the pictures I have seen, the billboards are sure to turn heads!

The displays will be up until Tuesday 14 September. A map showing the locations can be found here.
