The Crisis of Socialism

Trove present another show at the site of the old Science Museum. The Crisis of Socialism is a solo show of sculptures and illustrations by Sunderland born artist David Mackintosh. Mackintosh’s work  encompasses drawing, painting, sculpture and performance. He has exhibited widely throughout Europe and in America.  He has had major solo exhibitions at Hammersidi London, Mobile Home London and at Arnolfini Bristol 2003, and presented a solo show at Spike Island in Bristol in 2008 and Cornerhouse in Manchester in 2010.

The private view is Friday 28 May from 6-8pm. The show will also be open on Saturday 5 June 2-6pm and a closing on Thursday 10 June 8-10pm will feature an animation by the artist. The show can also be viewed by appointment which can be arranged through the Trove website.
