Every month at the Hare & Hounds a motley crew of enthusiasts for all things knitted, crocheted, cross-stitched or threaded gather for Stiches & Hos. A great opportunity to meet people, knit, natter and booze. Needles and wool are provided for those who don’t have them.
I went a few months ago. The last thing I attempted to knit was a toy soldier at school. I was painfully slow; the teacher was so exasperated that she turned my efforts into an egg cosy. Very useful… Having completely forgotten how to knit, there was help on hand from Sara who runs the night, and the other knitters. All abilities are welcome. A lovely night, although it must take practice to knit and talk at the same time!
Stitches & Hos is at the Hare & Hounds every last Tuesday of the month from 7.30pm. This month’s sounds to stitch to are provided by DJ CHiP and Pete Prescription.
