 Cardboard Wars

Next Saturday (22nd) from 1-4pm Eastside Projects in Digbeth will be transformed into a cardboard battleground for Cardboard Wars! There will be a costume building session, photoshoot & tournament. There will be prizes for the best costumes & for tournament winners. Competitors must make their own costume & weapon from cardboard only. The winner of each round is the competitor whose cardboard weapon does not break. Competitors will fight to break each others weapons only, with no contact to their opponent.

All materials will be provided & all ages are welcome. The event is free.

The event will be photographed as artwork by Juneau Projects (Ben Sadler & Philip Duckworth) and all participants will be credited. Images and costumes from the event will be exhibited at the School of Art, Birmingham Institute of Art & Design, Birmingham City University at Margaret Street as part of Juneau Projects Wheatley Fellowship exhibition, 5-12th December, at the same time as the MA show.
