Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

Moseley Folk Festival

Moseley Folk Festival

I am finally getting my ticket for Moseley Folk Festival tomorrow. The 4th annual festival has a superb line up this year & it’s less than a month away! I can’t wait.

This years acts include…
Jethro Tull, Circulus, Ben Calvert, Beth Orton, Martin Carthy & Dave Swarbrick and Adrian Edmonson & The Bad Shepherds.

The full line up can be seen here.

I’m particularly excited about VetiverWolf People. I have seen Vetiver umpteen times and they never disappoint. Andy Cabic has a beautiful voice and is an amazing songwriter.

I saw Wolf People at Green Man last year and they blew me away. I was transported back to the late 60s/early 70s. Great stuff!

There will be workshops, a healing area, great food and stalls. As well as all this there will be a programme of traditional, contemporary and experimental folk and acoustic music in the park and in some of the surrounding pubs.

Moseley Folk Festival takes place in Moseley Park from 4th-6th September. Tickets are available from Swordfish, Polar Bear, Marcus Galleries & The TicketSellers.
