Highlighting under the radar arts and culture in Birmingham, UK

The Great Animation Challenge

greatacEarlier this year Animation Forum West Midlands set a challenge to budding animators in the region. Several bands donated tracks for animators to animate to. The Midlands based bands included Epic45, Pram, Laurel Collective and Beat to Paris. On Tuesday 21st from 7pm at the Lighthouse in Wolverhampton you can see the fruits of their labours.

There will also be a screening of the best entries to last year’s Flip Animation Festival and a talk by Linda McCarthy, the stop-motion animator behind Small Birds Singing. The event is free. All you need to do is email to reserve a place.
